I recently picked up the 'Better Than Sex' mascara by Too Faced to try as my local Debenhams now has a small selection of their make-up in it. I'm forever seeing bloggers use this mascara in make-up tutorials and I've read endless amounts of blog posts on it so I jumped at the chance to try it, and I'm SO glad I did!
The name is kind of strange, I'll give you that, however it's a pretty good marketing technique I guess as people want to try it to see what the fuss is about and whether it really is 'better than sex'. I won't go into my answer to that statement or this blogpost could turn into something completely different and not a review of a mascara haha. So let's stick to make-up talk!
It's very rare for me to find a new mascara that I like. I'm a lover of the Maybelline Rocket Volum Express mascara (as you all know) and that's about as far as I venture! I have a whole draw full of mascaras I buy, try once and then shove to the back of my drawer because they just don't do it for me! But amazingly, I've actually fallen in love with this mascara (hoorah)! The packaging is gorgeous and pink which I love but it's also a really great mascara! I didn't really know what to expect from it but the second it touched my lashes I knew I was going to love it, and I'm so happy that I do!
It gives incredible length to my lashes, and a bit of volume too, but doesn't make them look clumpy at all! I literally don't have words to describe how much I love this mascara which isn't very good because you're reading this as you want to know my thoughts, but you'll just have to trust me when I say I love it, a lot!
Make sure you keep your eye out in up and coming make-up tutorials as I'm sure I'll be using this mascara all of the time now!!
