Let's just say, I'm very glad that the lady in Space NK directed me towards this foundation instead of the Sheer Glow. This foundation is great, and perfect for me and I'm going to tell you why...
The idea of NARS' new foundation is that it gives a very good coverage whilst feeling extremely light on the skin, 'weightless'. The foundation comes in 20 different shades. I got the shade 'Mont Blanc' and unfortunately it is a teeny tiny bit too dark for me (but after a lot of blending I can make it work).
I was surprised at how little you need to cover your whole face as the consistency of the foundation is very lightweight and almost watery. It's definitely the runniest foundation I've ever used and at first that did slightly put me off and I wasn't sure how well something that thin would cover up my redness/blemishes. But I am very happy to say that it did! Unlike NARS Sheer Glow, this foundation comes with the pump which is great! I feel like having to pour this foundation onto the back of your hand would be very tricky and you would end up with a lot more than you needed.
I also love how long this formula lasts on my skin. This is the first foundation I've ever tried that doesn't wear off half way through the day. I'm one of those girls that always carries around a concealer and powder to touch up with during the day because I have dry skin and my base make-up always seems to go patchy and gross, but with this foundation, I don't always feel like I need to, which is fab!
I still find it hard to believe how such a full coverage foundation can look so natural on the skin, but this one really does and I'm definitely a huge fan of this new release.
A huge thumbs up from me!
Have you tried this foundation? Let me know your thoughts!
Lots of love x
