A Few Of My Favourite Highlighters

For a long time now, highlighter has been one of my all time, holy grail make-up products. Everyone has gone completely crazy for it over the last year or so and I can 100% see why.

Adding a touch of highlighter to your skin can completely transform your make-up look and give you that 'lit from within' glow that we're all secretly after.

There are hundreds of highlighters on the market now and today, I'm going to talk you through a few of my favourites.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer  £17.49 - I had to start off with this one considering it's my most used and probably my favourite of the bunch! It's such a gorgeous champagne shade and it's so versatile! I use this on the tops of my cheekbones and on the inner corners of my eyes to really make them pop! It's a great shade that is easily wearable and thankfully for me, is suitable for the fairest of skin tones. Such a fab one to try if you're looking for a new highlighter, I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish 'Lightscapade' £24 - A slightly less 'in your face' highlight. This one is super subtle and doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all. I wear this one most days as it just looks very delicate and gentle on the skin and is perfect for every day make-up. The colours look so gorgeous swirled together and they look great on the skin too!

Rosie For Autograph Highlighter 'Rose Bud' £18 - The formula to this one is different to any other highlighters I own, but I love it. It's a loose powder so can get slightly messy but I feel like it applies onto the skin perfectly. When I first bought this highlighter I wasn't really expecting great things, but oh my was I wrong! This is honestly such an amazing highlighter and again, one I recommend to everyone! It's so easy to wear and I love how you can make it look super subtle or you can go all out and get a super glowing look! It's just incredible and I cannot stop staring at the swatch of it on my hand as I write this.

KIKO Radiant Touch Highlighter Stick '100' £9.90 - Lastly, we have a stick highlighter. Stick/cream highlighters are something I wasn't really a fan of until I tried this one. The texture feels light on the skin and not too thick or heavy. The colour is again, a lovely champagne shade so looks great on fair skin. The thing I love most about this highlighter and that makes it so different from the others is that it's an illuminating 'wet look' highlighter. It doesn't actually have shimmery particles in it unlike the others.

Let me know some of your favourite highlighters!

Lots of love x
