January Birchbox Review

I always look forward to receiving my monthly Birchobox and it's always such a joy to open up the box each month. This month I was super excited (even more than normal) when I saw that January's box was all about 'health' and had joined up with Women's Health to let us all try some amazing goodies to get us all back into shape after too much turkey at christmas (well not in my case as i'm a veggie haha).

Pilates Stretch band - I have been wanting to get my hands on one of these little things for a while now, so was super happy when I saw that I had received one in my box (and it's pink, bonus!) I really enjoy doing workouts at home and do try to as much as I can. There are loads of great videos on Youtube that you can follow and I'm super happy I now have one of these. I've used it loads already by incorporating it into my workout routines.

Stila Lip glaze - I can't find an actual colour on this but it's a gorgeous pink peachy colour. Like i've said before i'm more of a lipstick girl than a lipgloss girl but i've recently started to enjoy wearing lipgloss too. Stila is  brand that i've heard lots about but never tried any of their products. This lipgloss is so so lovely! It's got the prettiest flecks of glitter in it which really catch the light. The gloss itself isn't too thick or sticky and I think it looks so lovely on! The packaging is also really cute.

Embrace Matcha Green tea - I LOVE green tea. I'm such a huge love of tea, any kind really, and I've loved green tea for a really long time as I think the health benefits are amazing. I added this sachet to boiling water and just mixed it up. Stupidly, that isn't really what I should have done with it as all of the powder just sank to the bottom and it was really bitter to drink. That was completely my fault though and I wish I had put it in a smoothie. But never mind, I'm going to buy some more of this stuff so I can try it again!

Activbod Cooling Finish Lotion - This product comes out like a clear gel and it's great to apply as a moisturiser to cool down your skin after exercise. I have tried this, and it is very cooling on the skin due to the menthol. I wasn't too keen on the smell. It's not unpleasant, I just prefer moisturisers that smell fruity, whereas this one smelt slightly herbal. Because I have dry skin and this product has a gel texture, I didn't find it to be that moisturising, so personally I will just use this to cool down my skin/muscles after a workout. But if you have normal skin, this will probably moisturise too!

HealGel Face - Another product I was super excited to see in this months Birchbox! I've heard about this product before and for a full size (50ml) its £48, so it's pretty luxury! I use this like a serum and i've used it a couple of times. I've been really impressed so far! A little bit goes a very long way, and I just felt like my skin looked very bright and plumped! Cannot wait to carry on using this!

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum - This serum is supposed to be great at helping to fade dark spots which I don't have any of so I can't comment on that. But i'm always up for trying products that give radiance to my skin. I haven't used this serum enough yet to give a fair review on it but i'm looking forward to giving it a proper go.

Green People Intensive repair shampoo - This product is another one that I am still yet to try as i'm currently trying out another shampoo from Feelunique.com. I love the idea that this shampoo is great for dry or damaged hair yet still made from really great ingredients with no nasties in. The smell isn't really what I like, but it may work miracles on my hair, so i'll have to get back to you on that one.

This could possibly be my favourite Birchbox so far!
