FOTD | My Daily Make-Up

Today I fancied taking a few photographs of what products I used on my face this morning. I get a lot of comments on my Youtube videos asking what foundation I'm wearing, or what lipgloss etc and I knew that I was going to film today, so thought it might be a good idea to take a few photographs of what's going on my face so that you can take a look. It's also a good opportunity for me to do a few mini reviews on the products that I'm currently using.

If you want to see what look all of this make-up created then check out my latest video here.

Laura Mercier Primer - I used this as a base all over to help keep my make-up on for a bit longer (although this didn't really go to plan as after I filmed the video, I fell over a wire, hit my toes on the wall and cried for about 2 hours haha).

Dior Star Foundation - I had big hopes for this foundation as I know of a lot of other Youtubers/ bloggers who wear it and have flawless looking skin! However I've given this foundation a go quite a few times and i'm just not that impressed. I will use it from time to time, but when I film I just feel like my MAC foundation gives a much more flawless looking finish.

Benefit High Beam - A product which gets a lot of great reviews! I've had this mini travel size highlighter for a long time now and I've used it a few times and haven't got on with it. I always find that with cream highlighters they take off my base make-up and ruin my foundation. This morning I felt like giving it another go and I used my beauty blender. I put the highlighter straight onto the sponge, then gently dabbed it onto the tops of my cheekbones and it actually worked really well and blended smoothly (without taking off my foundation, hoorah!)

Benefit Hoola Bronzer - A staple product for me. I love my Hoola bronzer, and I especially love the little blue brush that it comes with, I think it's perfect for contouring!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in Medium Brown - This has become my favourite eyebrow product and I use it every day now without a fail. I just think its the perfect product to help me achieve a defined brow. The colour is quite dark but I just use it really lightly and it works very well for me.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha - This is something I found rummiging through my make-up stash this morning and I realised that I was yet to properly use it. I am a HUGE fan of NYX products and picked up a bunch of stuff to try at IMATS last year. Firstly, the colour is beautiful. It's a coppery brown colour and the super creamy texture allowed me to blend it really easily using my finger to create a base.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette - I used the shade 'Half Baked' over the top of my base, focusing on the crease of my eye. I then used 'Verve' in the inner corner of my eye to brighten it up!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara - You're probably all bored of my blabbing on about this product now, but I love it so so much! It lengthens my lashes which I love and it's also really build able so it enables you to make your lashes look how you like them to look. I just love it, and i'm super obsessed with the packaging!

Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Lunch Date - I love Tanya Burr lipglosses a lot (there will be a blog post coming soon focused on them). The smell of them is lovely and sweet, and I just think the formula is great. It lasts for such a long time, even through eating and drink and I just love the way they make my lips feel and look! Lunch Date is a perfect colour for an every day look!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, let me know what you think!
